Happily playing the sparklers!
Dan! Missed! He's away in Japan now and will only be back on the 10th day of Hari Raya.
Yesterday, went to break fast with my cousins at Spize Sempang Bedok. It has been our practise to break fast together outside since like 3 years ago, I think. So anyway, as usual, gatherings with all my cousins have never been sucha bore. That's why there's always the next time.
There was nothing much that happened at Spize. Basically we just finished up our food and left for Changi Beach. Ahah! Yea I know...fasting month and what are we doing at the beach?! Well...we only wanted to play the Sparklers (bunga api), and we had chose to play at a non-crowded place. Thoughtful right?
My little sis bought the 100pcs/pack Sparklers with sound effect to be shared amongst the 15 of us. We played a little until someone suggested going East Coast instead. And who was that person? Me! Hahah! But fortunately, everyone agreed! Wow! Oh yea if you're wondering how the 15 of us travel, by my brother-in-law's company lorry! FUN!!! A 5 toner lorry all to ourselves. You can smoke inside it an never choke. Huhuhu!
We found ourselves a nice spot and settled in. Brought mats and we hung around at East Coast till like 12a.m. Played "dog-and-bone" and some card games. What a scene! Fancy seeing teenagers, young adults, and adults getting involved in a particular game despite the age differences. Even more pleasing was the effort made by Seha to initiate small conversations with Aloi and Sheila. Then, I realised how much we've grown wiser with age. Seha seemed like she's willing to put all the misunderstandings she had with Aloi aside and try to move on. I'm so proud of her. To Aloi, you should start thinking out-of-your-comfort-zone soon and try to be more sensible kay.
Whatever it is, I pray that my these 2 gorgeous cousins will come into peace settlement by this Hari Raya. Insya'allah....Amin!
